THAYAR FOOD PRODUCTS had its inception way back in 1997. The company, which is today a leading manufacturer of wet flour in Chennai, South India, owes its stupendous success to its Founder partners Shri Kannan,S.Mahadevan and Shri A.R.Anandakrishnan whose grit, determination and foresight makes it a name to be reckoned with. The administrative office and factory are both located at West Mambalam, in Chennai.

The underlying philosophy of the company is to offer its customers high quality products with personalised service and prompt delivery. Initially starting with the manufacture of Idli / Dosai mavu the company ventured into Adai mavu, Rava Idli mavu and Rava Dosai mavu. No wonder then, that the organisation boasts of a set of qualified personnel consisting of a sales & marketing team, about twenty production staff and ten delivery assistants. The team-work that functions within the company has always been excellent, of course, like its products.

Over the years, THAYAR FOOD PRODUCTS have built up tremendous acceptance and recognition, so much so, that its welt flours viz, wet Idli / Dosai mavu, Adai mavu, Rava Idli and Rava dosai have virtually become an household name. The actual products go by the brand name ” THAAYAR” Well - thought - of marketing strategies, at regular intervals, have ensured that the products cut across all segments of society.

The actual manufacturing process

Utmost care is  taken on the production line. the products are manufactured in customised machines set up in a clean, spotless and extremely hygienic environment. All raw materials are laboratory tested   and ’ sortexed out through  a process of unique sorting and then undergo a cleaning process through  another  customised washing machine before being subjected to a semi - automatic packaging machine .

Eye on strict quality control

Stringent quality control  is observed when manufacturing the wet flours. Gloved hands and body wear plus pollution - free air is ensured apart from hygiene. That water  is especially checked before it undergoes special filtering and is then passed through the water treatment plant. This ensures that it is bacteria - free and not contaminated.

Care while packaging

The respective wet flours are packed in a cool, pollution free atmosphere. Every precaution is taken to ensure that no dust partieles or alien material gets within the pouches. Whilst in process, the semi - automatic fill and seal machine is operated observing necessary hygienic  rules. The end products  are then carefully stored under - 10 C temperature in a separate chamber. Now THAAYAR FOOD PRODUCTS are packed with new and attractive packing materials which meet the  standards set by food authorities  and is eco friendly.  The company hardly receive  of complaints and in such cases the grievances are promptly addressed to in person.

Care for the workforce

THAYAR FOOD PRODUCTS  pays special attention to each and every worker. Food and accommodation is provided. The company strictly avoids child labor Instead , it has extended jobs to the handicapped, disabled and widows as their contribution to social welfare.
